It has the power to move someone over 200lbs up an incline. That's the positive I have to say about it.
The breaks are absolute garbage. If you tighten the cable to get more stopping power then they click and just stop doing ANYTHING. I've started using my foot on the ground to slow down, at least until I can get breaks that aren't garbage.
Connections and fasteners do not stay tight. The mechanism where the upright folds is super wobbly, and the part where the handles connect to the upright required shims to prevent them from also wobbling around.
The controls are not smooth. They operate in stages, so you get jolts of acceleration as you speed up. Even when you are maintaining a speed you will get a rhythmic acceleration like the motor is on for a second then off for a second, then on, then off.
The APP does not work well. Trying to lock the scooter takes multiple attempts, which is annoying, but UNLOCKING it is worse because it won't let you connect unless the wheels are not touching the ground, then it will again take multiple attempts to unlock it.
The wheel hubs are terribly designed. Just changing a tire requires a lot of disassembly, and everything is so tight you may damage the new tube trying to get it reassembled.
They even turn the charging port into an issue. They put the charging port(with a hard plastic cover) on the opposite side of the kick stand, so if you bump it the wrong way while it is charging then it will tip over and break the cover($40USD plus shipping to replace not counting labour) and the end of the charging cable($100USD plus shipping to replace). I'm currently using duck tape to keep the charging port sealed.
I am convinced I am going to have to upgrade virtually every component on this scooter to make it not terrible and dangerous.
Add to that the insurance company (Sure Bright) takes a week to get back to you on every communication. Literally. It took a month from filing a claim to getting a location I could go to get it fixed. Then the location they gave me was in another province. Then it took them another month of back and forth to get a local shop, which didn't do service on this scooter. They eventually stopped "trying" to get it fixed and just paid out the max coverage of the insurance plan to get me to leave them alone.
Btw the warranty service is Sure Bright(operating out of Florida), and their agent is called Guardsman(operating out of Texas), and used an email for a spa service... I was convinced it was a scam until they sent the contract payout
